Anchoring Change
Cathy Salser's lifelong inquiry is:
How can we use art to anchor journeys of change in the face of trauma?
This looks different
moment by moment,
evolving responsively within
each unique context.
Her work often takes the shape
of lived & interactive journeys.
What appears here are
artifacts of journeys
and an invitation
to join in.

A Window Between Worlds
Since 1991, Cathy has nurtured A Window Between Worlds (AWBW), a co-creative community of individuals and organizations using art to anchor journeys of transformation in the face of violence and trauma. This work has grown to include over 1,500 active Facilitators in 44 states and eight countries. AWBW offers free public resources and Facilitator training, welcoming us each as innovators of journeys of change.

Durational Journey Art Supplies
Any art supplies can serve a durational journey. Even a scrap of paper and pencil can become a pivotal pivotal of transformative journeying. This AWBW Resource page offers favorite supplies and links, as well as Cathy Salser sharing stories of the origins of durational journeying at AWBW.
